WISH UPON A STAR

PART 1 – CREATING YOUR UNDER DRAWING

VIDEO 1 – CREATING THE UNDERLYING DRAWING

In this video I draw the girl in graphite and waterproof colorpencil, showing you the full process. Taking time to create a really good “underdrawing” is acutally a huge part of the finished piece. Take your time to really immerse your self in this important stage in the art making proces.

PART 2 – UNLEASHING THE COLORS

VIDEO 2 – LAYERING IN COLOR I

You have now laid down a solid foundation with your drawing, and its time to start the coloring proces. In this video, I show you how to layer in with watercolor pencils, and we also start up the “activation” with water.

This part of the process continues in video 3

VIDEO 3 – LAYERING IN COLOR II

In this session, we continue the coloring techniques from video 2, creating more layers and we start working in more detail on the face.

PART 3 – FABULOUS FINISH

VIDEO 4 – REFINING AND DETAILS

In this video I move on to creating fine details in waterproof color pencil in the hair and face.

Also, I show you how I work with creating a dusty, dreamy feeling with spraying technique … aaand finally we make some stars to wish upon, yay!

BONUS SESSION – REFINING THE FACIAL EXPRESSION

In this session I go back and refine the facial features even more detalis and refinement especially focusing on colored pencil. Watch this session to get my best tips for creating smooth and detailed finish in colored pencil.
